Vintage Kokeshi Doll by Kisaku – Yuki no Ume (23cm/9 inches)

This beautiful & bulky kokeshi doll by Kisaku is titled 雪の梅 (Yuki no Ume) which means Snow Plum. It shows plum flowers still covered in snow as sometimes does happen in Japan in the very early spring months.

In mint condition, comes with the original box and wooden sign.
