Born in Tokyo in 1956. A winner of multiple awards her kokeshi dolls are often very colorful and display marvelous floral patterns as well as extremely detailed kimonos and everyday wear.

  • 1999 – National Modern Kokeshi Exhibition Honorary Award
  • 2001 – National Modern Kokeshi Exhibition Crafts Association Award
  • 2003 – National Modern Kokeshi Exhibition Tokyo Shinbun (newspaper) Award
  • 2005 – National Modern Kokeshi Exhibition Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Honorary Award
  • 2017 – All Japan Kokeshi Contest Gunma Governor’s Award
