Exclusive Vintage Creative Kokeshi Doll by Masashi Takeda – Flower Girl (33cm/13 inches)

A wonderful large exclusive kokeshi in natural wood tone with stunningly carved flowers along her body.

Master Takeda Masashi was born in Yamagata prefecture in 1930 and won many prizes for his works. His kokeshi dolls has a unique style, with rich dark wood tones and carved flowers. He barely uses any paint to showcase the beauty of the natural texture of the wood used.

In great condition with minor marks of age and use. Comes with the original box and wooden sign.
