Tall Exclusive Vintage Kokeshi by Kobayashi Inosuke (46cm/18 inches)

This tall exclusive vintage kokeshi doll was made & signed by the late master Kobayashi Inosuke (1931-2000). She features a kimono decorated with carvings of autumn leaves with a red obi (kimono belt) on the side of her body.

He was born in 1931 in Gunma prefecture and won multiple awards for his kokeshi dolls throughout his life, including winning the prestigious Prime Minister award in 1979. His dolls are usually tall and elegant featuring natural wood colors combined colorful kimonos.

In good condition with visible signs of age and use. Has a chip on the bottom part of her base (under the signature). Please inspect the pictures.
