Vintage Creative Kokeshi by Kaoru Nozawa – Yume Kosode (30cm/11.8 inches)

This beautiful kokeshi doll was made and signed by Kaoru Nozawa. Her title is 夢小袖 (Yume Kosode) Yume means “Dream” and Kosode was a type of short-sleeved Japanese garment, and the direct predecessor of the kimono. Her stunning golden kosode is decorated with exquisitly carved flowers.

In great condition. Has a small mark near the eye.
