Vintage Kokeshi Doll by Kobayashi Inosuke (28.5cm/11.2 inches)

Vintage creative kokeshi doll by the late master Kobayashi Inosuke (1931-2000).

He was born in 1931 in Gunma prefecture and won multiple awards for his kokeshi dolls throughout his life, including winning the prestigious Prime Minister award in 1979. His dolls are usually tall and elegant featuring natural wood colors combined colorful kimonos.

In good condition with a marks of age and use as well as a small chip on the left side of the hair – please inspect the pictures before placing an order.
