Fumio Tomidokoro Creative Kokeshi Doll – Ayaka (10cm/3.9 inches)

This creative Kokeshi doll was made by Fumio Tomidokoro (1948-). She’s titled 彩花 (Ayaka) which is a girl’s name. It’s a combination of two characters, 彩 meaning colorful and 花 meaning flowers. Made of mizuki (dogwood) her kimono has beautiful Hydrangea flowers in pink and blue with green leaves around them. Her hair is decorated with a cute pink ribbon.

In mint condition, comes with the original box.
