Cute Kokeshi Doll by Sekiguchi Toshio (15cm/5.9 inches)

Vintage creative kokeshi doll made and signed by master Sekiguchi Toshio (1947-) wearing an orange kimono.

Master Sekiguchi Toshio was born in Shibukawa City, Gunma-ken, and still lives and works there with his family, all of whom also create creative Kokeshi dolls. He won many awards including the new comer award at the young age of 15. He is the son of the renowned kokeshi artisan Sekiguchi Sansaku.
