Creative Kokeshi Doll by Fumio Tomidokoro – Auspicious (22cm/8.6 inches)

This beautiful and bulky creative Kokeshi doll was made by Fumio Tomidokoro (1948-).She’s titled 吉祥 (Kisho) which can be translated to “Auspicious” and “Lucky Omen”.
Her stunning red kimono is carved with plum flowers in full bloom in red and white. Her haneri (kimono collar) is in pale pink and the obi (kimono belt) is purple.

In mint condition, comes with the original box and wooden sign.
