Yuko Yamazaki Creative Kokeshi Doll – Little Dog (21.5cm/8.4 inches)

This creative kokeshi doll was made and signed by Yuko Yamazaki (1956-). Her title is わんこちゃん (Wankochan) which is a cute way to say “Little Dog”.
She’s wearing an adorable puppy costume on top of a red, pink and blue checkered sweater and a lovely red ribbon.

Yuko Yamazaki was born in 1956 and learned the art of kokeshi dolls from master Yoshida Takashi. She has won many prizes for her unique and beautiful kokeshi dolls and also taught the art of kokeshi making to active artists.

In mint condition. Comes with the original box and wooden sign.
