Vintage Creative Kokeshi Doll by Aida Seiho (12cm/4.7 inches)

Kokeshi vintage creative by award winning artist Aida Seiho AKA Aida Harumine (1926-1998). She has a very stylish hairstyle and simple flowers carved on her front.

Master Harumine was one of the prominent pioneers of the creative kokeshi (“sosaku”) movement during the 60s. He has won numerous awards for his beautiful kokeshi dolls.

In good condition with signs of age and use. Has a couple of marks on the left side (see the last picture).
