Vintage Creative Kokeshi by Teruo Yokoyama “Aizakari” (14cm/5.5 inches)

This wonderful kokeshi doll was made by Teruo Yokoyama (1953-2005) who was an extremely talented artist who sadly passed away at a rather young age.
Her title is Aizakari (愛盛) which means the period of time when a child is the cutest and this kokeshi cuteness is on another level. Her gold decorated kimono has the same shade as her red cheeks and her gazing into the sky gives her a child-like innocence.

In great condition with a small mark on the back of her hair. Comes with the original box and wooden sign.
