This wonderful kokeshi doll set was made by Teruo Yokoyama (1953-2005) who was an extremely talented artist who sadly passed away at a rather young age.

Their title is 姉弟 (Shitei) which means “Older Sister and Younger Brother”. The sister is wearing a lovely red kimono while the younger brother wears a matching kimono in navy color. Both have an adorable smile on their faces and beautifully carved hair.

In great condition with minor signs of age and use. Comes with the original wooden sign.
