Tall Vintage Kokeshi Doll by Kobayashi Inosuke (40cm/15.7 inches)

Exclusive vintage creative kokeshi doll by the late master Kobayashi Inosuke (1931-2000).

He was born in 1931 in Gunma prefecture and won multiple awards for his kokeshi dolls throughout his life, including winning the prestigious Prime Minister award in 1979. His dolls are usually tall and elegant featuring natural wood colors combined colorful kimonos.

In great condition with a marks of age and use, one mark on the back of the hair.
