Oizumi Masa Kokeshi Doll – Gentle Breeze (24cm/9.4 inches)

This vintage Shingata kokeshi was made and signed by Oizumi Masa who resides in Sendai. She’s titled そよ風 (Soyokaze) which means “Gentle Breeze”. This design has won her the Minister of Rural Affairs Award in the All Japan Kokeshi Contest back in 1959.

In great condition, signed by the artist. Comes in the original box.
