Vintage Kokeshi Doll by Kunio Miyakawa (16cm/6.3 inches)

Vintage creative kokeshi doll by master Kunio Miyakawa (1933-). This bulky kokeshi has a beautiful natural wood color kimono decorated with flower carvings in green, white and brown.

Born in 1933 in Gunma prefecture. He has won the prestigious prime minister award twice for his beautiful kokeshi creations.

In good condition with marks of use & age.
