Fumio Tomidokoro Creative Kokeshi Doll – Sakura Flower (9.5cm/3.7 inches)

This creative Kokeshi doll was made by Fumio Tomidokoro (1948-). She’s titled 桜花 (Oka) which means “Cherry blossoms”.
Made of beautiful keyaki (zelkova) wood her kimono has an intricate pattern of cherry blossom as well as an auspicious asanoha (hemp) pattern.

In mint condition, comes with the original box.
