Fumio Tomidokoro Creative Kokeshi Doll – Summer Dew (9.5cm/3.7 inches)

This creative Kokeshi doll was made by Fumio Tomidokoro (1948-). She’s titled 夏の露 (Natsu no Tsuyu) which means “Summer Dew”.
Made of mizuki (dogwood) wood her kimono is beautifully decorated with blue Hydrangea flowers which blossom in the beginning of summer in Japan as the rainy seasons sets in. She has a veil in green and purple.

In mint condition, comes with the original box.
