Fumio Tomidokoro Creative Kokeshi Doll – Hanazakari (20cm/7.8 inches)

This tall and slender creative Kokeshi doll was made by Fumio Tomidokoro (1948-). She’s titled 花ざかり (Hanazakari) which means “Flowers in Full Bloom”.
She’s wearing a a red kimono decorated with cherry blossom flowers in red and pink. Her haneri (kimono collar) is in gentle green color and her hair is wrapped with a band in the same color on her lower back.

In mint condition, comes with the original box and wooden sign.
