Cute Vintage Kokeshi Doll by Yamanaka Sanpei (10cm/3.9 inches)

An adorable vintage creative kokeshi with a slightly faded green body, carved hair on the front and an innocent look in her eyes.
She was made and signed by master Yamanaka Sanpei (1926-2012) who won over 20 awards for his kokeshi dolls including the prestigious “Prime Minister Award” in 1979. Sanpei’s inspiration for kokeshi doll designs often come from children.

In good with minor marks of age and use.
