Aida Seiho Vintage Kokeshi Doll (46cm/18.1 inches)

This vintage kokeshi doll was made and signed by Aida Seihou, also known as Aida Harumine (1926-1998). She is decorated with Susuki (Japanese silver grass) which is a symbol of autumn with hair in a matching color. Made of 3 dark Enju parts and her obi (kimono belt) is made of zelkova wood, creating a lovely color contrast.

In great condition, with visible signs of age and use.
