Vintage Kokeshi Doll by Sekiguchi Toshio (8cm/3.1 inches)

Vintage creative kokeshi doll made and signed by master Sekiguchi Toshio (1947-) wearing a marvelous floral glittering kimono.

Master Sekiguchi Toshio was born in Shibukawa City, Gunma-ken and currently resides in Maebashi city nearby. He won many awards including the new comer award at the young age of 15. He is the son of the renowned kokeshi artisan Sekiguchi Sansaku and brother of Sekiguchi Toa and Oki Izumi – both kokeshi artists in their own right.

In good condition with minor signs of age and use.
