Hideo Ishihara Vintage Kokeshi Doll Set – Wataboshiko (14-17.5cm/5.5-6.8 inches)

Pair of vintage creative kokeshi by Hideo Ishihara. They are titled 綿帽子 (Wataboshi Ko) which means “Young Women in Bridal Hoods”. In Japan, wataboshi is a white hood (hat) that women wear on their traditional wedding day in a Shinto shrine.

In good condition with visible marks as well as signs of age and use. Please inspect all the pictures.
