Yushi Kawase Vintage Kokeshi Doll – Nogiku (19cm/7.4 inches)

This lovely kokeshi was made and signed by Yushi Kawase who was born Gunma prefecture in 1938. Her title is 野菊 (Nogiku) which means “Wild Chrysanthemum”. She’s wearing a dark kimono with decorations of wild Chrysanthemums in purple and pink. Her hair is designed in a very stylish way.

In mint condition. Comes in the original box.
