Fumio Tomidokoro Kokeshi Doll – Flower Girl (18.5cm/7.2 inches)

This beautiful and bulky creative Kokeshi doll was made & signed by Fumio Tomidokoro (1948-). She’s titled 花童女 (Hana Dojo) which can be translated to “Flower Girl”. Her kimono features autumn colors as well as orange and red sakura flowers, a kanoko dotted pattern and her vail has white sakura flowers.

In good condition with signs of age and use. Please inspect all images. Comes with the original wooden sign.

p.s.
The same doll have had a different name plate with the title “Voice of Autumn”. I will confirm the right title when possible.
