Daisuke Takeda Vintage Kokeshi Doll Set (23cm/9 inches)

This set of 2 vintage kokeshi dolls was made by Daisuke Takeda.

One doll has a white plum treee and the other shows a red plum tree. In Japan plum trees are considered to be auspicious since they are the first to blossom at the end of winter when it’s still relatively cold, hence they symbolize vitality and perseverance

In great condition with signs of age and use. Unsigned.
