Fumio Tomidokoro Kokeshi Doll – Mountain Echo (21cm/8.2 inches)

This creative Kokeshi doll was made by Fumio Tomidokoro (1948-). Her title is 山彦 (Yamabiko) which means “Mountain Echo” and is used to describe the phenomenon of sound reflecting off mountains, creating an echoing effect.

Aqcuired directly from Fumio Tomidokoro san, she has one small crack in the bottom front. Comes in the original box.
