Vintage Kokeshi Doll by Aida Seiho – Osage No Ko (37cm/14.5 inches)

Kokeshi vintage creative by award winning artist Aida Seiho AKA Aida Harumine (1926-1998). Her title is おさげの子 (Osage No Ko) which means “The Girl With The Pigtails”

Master Harumine was one of the prominent pioneers of the creative kokeshi (“sosaku”) movement during the 60s. He has won numerous awards for his beautiful kokeshi dolls.

In great condition with signs of age and use.
