Yushi Kawase Vintage Kokeshi Doll – Zuisho (24cm/9.4 inches)

This kokeshi was made and signed by Yushi Kawase who was born Gunma prefecture in 1938. She’s titled 瑞祥 (Zuisho) which means “Auspicious Sign”. Her beautiful blue kimono is decorated with 2 large origami cranes (Orizuru), one in red and the other in green with white decorations within them in the shape of abstract flowers.

In great condition. Comes with the original box and wooden sign.
