Yuko Yamazaki Creative Kokeshi Doll – Musumegokoro (34cm/13.3 inches)

This creative kokeshi doll was made and signed by the multiple award winning artist Yuko Yamazaki (1956-).

Her title is 娘心 (Musumegokoro) which means “Girlish Innocent”. She indeed has a very innocent and charming expression on her face as she calmly brushes her long hair along her beautiful, flower decorated kimono.

Yuko Yamazaki was born in 1956 and learned the art of kokeshi dolls from master Yoshida Takashi. She has won many prizes for her unique and beautiful kokeshi dolls and also taught the art of kokeshi making to active artists.

In mint condition. Comes with the original box.
