Vintage Kokeshi Doll by Tanaka Harumasa (24.5cm/9.6 inches)

This vintage creative Kokeshi doll was made and signed by master Tanaka Harumasa (1916) who was a very influential artists in the beginning of the sousaku (creative) kokeshi movement in the early 1950’s. The doll’s body is decorate in a floral pattern with light orange flowers. Her curved eyes give her whimsical look as typical with Harumasa’s works.

In great condition with minor signs of age and use.
