Shirahama Kumiko Creative Kokeshi Doll – Spring Attire (17cm/6.7 inches)

This cute kokeshi doll was made by the talented, long time kokeshi artist Shirahama Kumiko (1952~).

Her title is 春の装い (Haru no Yosoi) which can be translate to “Spring Attire”. Made of lovely warm tone keyaki (zlekova) wood she’s wearing a spring kimono with various sakura flowers in shades of pink and purple.
