Oki Izumi Creative Kokeshi – Memories of Spring (23cm/9 inches)

This adorable kokeshi doll was made by the talented, award winning artist Oki Izumi who was born in 1956 in Shibukawa city, Gunma prefecture.

Her title is おもいでプリマベーラ (Omoide Primavera) which means “Memories of Spring”. She’s holding a basket full of strawberries and fruit with one hand, and a small blue bird in the other. Her cute hat is decorated a fawn, butterflies and a small tree.
*The hat is not removable.

In mint condition, comes in the original box with its wooden sign.
