Creative kokeshi by Miyama Keiji. Her title is 花づくし (Hanazukushi) which means “Full of Flowers”. Her cute orange kimono is decorated with colorful flowers and her obi (kimono belt) features a lovely black and red kanoko dotted pattern. It is fastened with a yellow obishime which is a decorative cord used to secure the kimono obi in place.

Miyama Keiji has won numerous prizes for his works, among them The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award.

In great condition with minor signs of age and use. Comes in the original box.
