Megumi Nozawa Creative Kokeshi Doll – Friendship (15cm/5.9 inches)

This adorable creative kokeshi doll was made by Megumi Nozawa who was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1949.

Her title is 友情 (Yujo) which means “Friendship”. She’s wearing a kimono with simple flower decorations but has wonderfully carved hair, but the cutest thing about this kokeshi, apart for her warm smile, is the flower bouquet that she’s holding. Megumi san did a wonderful work incorporating it into the hair giving it a very realistic look.

In near-mint condition, comes with the original box.
