Kokeshi Doll Set by Master Murakami Kenichi (21cm / 8.2 inches)

Japanese Kokeshi Doll Vintage Creative by Master Murakami Kenichi.

Born in 1929 he started studying oil painting in his early teenager years but towards the mid 40’s he started creating kokeshi. His dolls are known to have very minimal design with an emphasize on the natural wood color and grain.

In great condition with signs of age and use. One has a tiny wood knot on the back.
