Vintage Creative Kokeshi by Kaoru Nozawa – Kotone Winter (27cm/10.6 inches)

This beautiful kokeshi doll was made and signed by Kaoru Nozawa. Her title is 琴音 冬 (Kotone Fuyu) which means “The Sound of The Koto, Winter”. Koto is a Japanese music string instrument, and the national instrument of Japan. Her blue kimono is decorated with red flowers covered in snow. The title implies that there’s another version of this doll in a different season.

In great condition. Comes in the original box with the original wooden sign.
