Ishimura Vintage Kokeshi Doll – Kunpu (48cm/18.8 inches)

This beautiful and colorful vintage creative kokeshi was made & signed by master Ishimura. She’s titled 薫風 (Kunpu) which means “Fragrant Early Summer Breeze”.

Her stunning kimono is decorated with flowers and a legendary Japanese bird called Ho-o (Phoenix) which is a symbol of good fortune, peace and new beginnings which matches spring.

In great condition with visible signs of age and use. Comes with the original box and wooden sign. Please inspect all images.
