This exclusive vintage creative kokeshi was made and signed by the famous award winning artist Iguchi Satory (1948~). Her title is 桜花 (Oka) which means “Sakura in Bloom” (Sakura means Cherry Blossom).

Her stunningly carved kimono features beautiful cherry flowers in natural wood color and in green. Her hair elegantly flows to her right side.

He was born in 1948 and studied the art of making kokeshi dolls from the renowned master Sansaku Sekiguchi. During his years he won multiple awards for his outstanding designs and work. His kokeshi dolls are highly sought after by collectors and are usually very big and don’t have much colors used.

In great condition. Comes with the original box and wooden sign.
