Chiyomi Horiuchi Creative Kokeshi – Oborozukiyo (11.5cm/4.5 inches)

This lovely kokeshi doll was made by the very talented and multiple award winner Chiyomi Horiuchi (1956~).

She’s titled 朧月夜 (Oborozukiyo) which means “A Misty Spring Night”. She’s wearing a stunning kimono with a softly glowing moon with sakura flowers. The sakura flower leaves can also be seen in her carved hair blowing down it with the gentle spring wind.

In mint condition. Comes with the original box.
