Vintage Creative Kokeshi Doll by Aida Seiho (15cm/5.9 inches)

This beautiful kokeshi doll was made by Aida Seihou, also known as Aida Harumine (1926-1998).

Each line in her hair is splendidly carved along her body. Her kimono sleeves are overlaying each other. Note the fine kimono eri (collar) that has a matching striped pattern as the bottom middle.
