Inosuke Kobayashi Vintage Kokeshi Doll (31.5cm/12.4 inches)

This vintage creative kokeshi doll was made and signed by the late master Kobayashi Inosuke (1931-2000). She’s wearing a natural wood color kimono with a floral pattern.

He was born in 1931 in Gunma prefecture and won multiple awards for his kokeshi dolls throughout his life, including winning the prestigious Prime Minister award in 1979. His dolls are usually tall and elegant featuring natural wood colors combined colorful kimonos.

In good condition with visible marks, as well as signs of age and use. Has a couple of dents on the hair. Please inspect all the pictures.
