Yoshida Takashi Vintage Kokeshi Doll – Urara (26cm/10.2 inches)

This exclusive vintage kokeshi doll was made & signed by Yoshida Takashi. Her title is うらら (urara) which means “Beautiful, Splendid”. Her kimono is carved with thousands of small creases displaying master Yoshida’s incredible skill and dedication. Her hair is also a carving masterpiece and is gathered with a lovely hairband.

Yoshida Takashi is a renowned creative kokeshi artist and has won several top prizes in Japan for his amazing and skillful works.

In great condition with minor marks of age and use.
