Oki Yasunobu Creative Kokeshi Doll – Tomodachi (25cm/9.8 inches)

This lovely kokeshi doll was made by the talented, award winning Oki Yasunobu (1955~) who was born in Fukutsu city, Fukuoka prefecture. In 2014 and 2025 He won the prestigious Prime Minister Award in the Gunma Prefecture Modern Kokeshi Contest.

Her title is ともだち (Tomodachi) which means “Friend”. She’s wearing a beautiful red kimono with cherry blossom decorations with an inner kanoko dotted pattern. She’s holding a cute white and orange cat.

In mint condition. Comes with the original box and wooden sign.
