Hideo Ishihara Vintage Kokeshi Doll Set – Sunset (31-37cm/12.2-14.5 inches)

Pair of vintage creative kokeshi by Hideo Ishihara. They are titled 夕陽 (Yuhi) which means “Sunset”. Made from beautiful keyaki wood with a reddish tone, they might remind you of a pair watching the sunset, with its warm colors reflecting on them.

The bottom of the dolls has both Hideo Ishihara’s signature as well as a dedication written to the original person the dolls were given to in 1969.

In very good condition with minor signs of age and use.
