Fumio Tomidokoro Kokeshi Doll – A Happy Day (19cm/7.5 inches)

This adorable kokeshi doll was made by Fumio Tomidokoro (1948-).

She’s titled 嬉しい日 (Ureshi Hi) which means “A Happy Day”. Her cute smile is contagious and looking at her is sure to turn anyone’s day into a happy one. Her kimono is decorated with an auspicious Asanoha (hemp) pattern in yellow, red and orange.

In mint condition, comes with the original box and wooden sign.
